We booked to see Real Madrid V Almeria for our anniversary so wanted a football trip but also a great hotel and total package and this really didn't disappoint!. The flight was easy and comfortable and we chose to buy a metro card at the airport as the hotel was fairly central. The journey was easy and navigating the metro during our stay was very simple and great for hopping around the city. We used our ticket which cost €18 so many times during the 3 days we were there going in and around the city, back and forth from the Bernabau Stadium and also to pay a visit to the Athletico Madrid Stadium. The hotel was fantastic, just out of central Madrid but the room was large, comfortable and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff were great and keen to talk football with us over a beer and bar snacks. The tickets were waiting for us at reception and we had a fantastic time when we arrived pre match as we joined the locals in a bar and had a few drinks with them. Everyone was really friendly even if our Spanish was not great! Football seems to bring everyone together! The match was a cracker, and the seats were better than I had anticipated. We enjoyed the whole weekend so much that we really want to go back again. I can't thank you or recommend you enough, thanks for a fantastic anniversary trip!! We are now looking at another one for next year :)

The city itself was abit dull but the hotel was very good, right in the heart of the city and 10 min walk from the underground station, the game at signal iduna park was unreal the atmosphere was out of this world and the fans were great. Also did the stadium tour which was well worth it, you can either do it in german or english, paid €10 euro's and you can purchase tickets in the borusseum on the 2nd floor in the club shop. I would definitely go back again for the football the fans and the atmosphere was different class altogether.

Visit the westfalen park up tower amazing views over dortmund.

I purchased a 3 nt break to Barcelona as a xmas present for my husband. We have both wanted to visit the Nou Camp and boy did it live up to our expectations. The trip was fantastic start to finish. I cant rate Footballbreak highly enough, flight and hotel tickets arrived by email with clear instructions. The football tickets were waiting for us when we arrived - all perfect. The experience of being part of the crowd at the Nou Camp was unbelievable. Barcelona itself was clean, sunny and easy to get around.

If going to Barcelona, I would recommend the metro system. We never had to wait anymore than 3 minutes and that was just having missed a tube - brilliant.

The package we had was Hotel and Tickets? We made our own arrangements for the flights. The match was a one sided affair but was worth every penny. The weather was rather inclement but that's not any ones fault. The Aparthotel Galeon G3 was adequate with the staff being very helpful and quite close to the Bernabau Stadium (20mins walk).I would have preferred to have Tea making facilities in the room but that was not a major problem. The Tickets were delivered the evening before the game (excellent), the service from Football Break was faultless so all in all I would hesitate to use the Company again and would also recommend a trip to anyone.

Our Hotel was close to the ground but I think we would have better off staying closer to the centre of Madrid for more choices of Bars and Restaurants etc. Having said that the transport away from the ground after the game might have been a lot of hassle re the Metro i.e. gaining access with the large crowd and tickets for travel on the Metro with the instuctions being in Spanish

I booked the trip to see Real Madrid as a surprise present for my partners 50th Birthday. I was slightly nervous booking with an internet company that I had no knowledge of but I cannot fault the company for service and my expectations of the trip were surpassed. The hotel and flight were all as expected and the match tickets were delivered to the hotel the night before the game. The seats that we had were excellent, 2nd row of the 2nd tier, not 'up in the Gods' which I was slightly nervous of! I recommend upgrading your tickets to Category 2 as it is well worth it. The only thing that let us down on the day was the weather, it rained heavily during the match but we were lucky enough to be under cover so only got slightly damp! The atmosphere on the night was excellent, we were sat amongst a mixture of Real Madrid and Real Vallacano fans who were all really friendly and added to the experience. Madrid is a lovely city, if you stay in the centre it is easy to get around on foot. The City Tour which was included in the package was appreciated and well worth it.

Use the Metro as it is cheap and really easy to navigate. Definitely do the Stadium Tour if you have time but don't do it on a match day as you are unable to go in the changing rooms. If you want to buy a Real Madrid shirt do so before you go as they are far more expensive in the Megastore (90 euros).
