We loved Barcelona. It has everything. It is vibrant, friendly and the metro makes it easy to access. The bonus of a beach means you have somewhere to relax after an exhausting day exploring.

Get a 2 day metro pass. This gets you from the airport to the city centre and also access to the stadium and other parts of the city during your visit.

Great value for money. Hotel is never a 4 star (no coffee in rooms and no bar open)

Fantastic trip to Barcelona.

I took my boyfriend for a football break to Barcelona for his 40th Birthday, seeing Barcelona FC play on his actual birthday. We both had such a fantastic time!! The whole experience was amazing!! The hotel was superb and in the perfect location. The city was beautiful with so much to see and do. And the match itself was an amazing experience we'll never forget! Our seats were fantastic!! My boyfriend was over the moon with this whole weekend, and it was so easy to book. We're already looking at where to book next!!! ??

We very much enjoyed our trip, when you book on-line you sometimes have many questions like will everything turn out ok, can we trust the website, will our tickets be waiting for us?? and so on. Well I can DEFINATELY say what a fabulous experience we had for our sons 18th, all went according to plan and the seating we were given (ok we paid more) were fantastic. Football breaks kept us well informed of all our arrangements, flights tickets were sent through to my e-mail, hotel was spot on. Just a big thank you and we will certainly be using you again and will recommend you to friends and family.

The only tips I have are wear comfortable shoes as you walk for miles as there is so much to see and experience, use the taxis as they are literally everywhere and try the local food especially a little café call Bon Appetite (great food).

Found football break when looking for a birthday present for my son who is Real Madrid mad, being able to book the full package in one was so much easier then trying to get all the parts on different sites, I was able to upgrade the hotel and pick the flights I wanted very easily which also made the trip very convenient. Tickets to the game were waiting for us when we checked in and we were very lucky to be upgraded to VIP seats for the match which was simply out of this world and very unexpected. The stadium was amazing, we took in a tour the day before the match for a few hours, match day was simply unforgetable, the VIP experience was amazing from start to finish, a private lift to take us to the correct floor, free bar and food and a box with awesome views for the match, with drink and snacks served to us during the game as well. Madrid is a great city and is so easy to get around, you will not be short of places to visit, eat, drink and relax.
