2nd time I've booked with FootballBreak (must be due a discount). Booked a full package again with everything all sorted for me. Ease and convience of this... brilliant. Milan is a great city with a brilliant stadium that is the Giuseppe Meazza / San Siro. Easy and affordable to get around as well.

Wasn't too keen on taking my passport with me to the game but DO take it with you for ID purposes.

antastic, what a wonderful time we had. The total package we had was brilliant and so well organised. We flew from Manchester, it was an early start but worth it as we arrived at our hotel just before mid-day. The flight time to Madrid was 2hr 10min. We could have chosen a bus or tube from the airport but there were lines of Taxis so we got one to our hotel. It was a standard fare of 30 euros. We stayed at the Best Western Trafalgar Hotel which was ideal for both the city centre and the football ground. The hotel is small but really nice and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was only 300mts from the tube station. We did the VIP package which was brilliant we were really well looked after. The seats in the stadium were four rows from the front on the lower section. In the VIP area the staff were lovely, there was so much really nice food to be had before, half-time and after the match. The free bar included beer, wine, champagne the lot. Madrid is a lovely city and well worth exploring. The Royal Palace is well worth a visit and is cheap to get in. Go on a hop on hop off red bus or take the Metro which is easy to use and safe it costs 12.50 euros for 10 journeys. Visit the Gourmet experience on the top floor of El Corte Englesis shopping store on the Gran Via street for fantastic 360 views over the city and a great choice of food and drink.

Get to the stadium early to enjoy the atmosphere. The Bernabeu Stadium is only four stops on the metro from the city centre

Hotel much, much better than the reviews would have you believe. We had a refurbed room on the 7th floor and it was lovely. But - there were plumbing problems which were not dealt with and which, we suspect, the staff were well aware of. So avoid room 721. Stadium was great though tricky to find the right entrance and we had to check in my small rucksack. Seats were impossibly high, steep stairs to them and and no hand rails. Not for me and I was prepared to forgo the match rather than climb to the sears. The steward was lovely and organised a swap for some lower seats with two very kind fans. Impressed at the way the tickets arrived without any fuss and how things worked generally. Just wished we we had been able to stay in Dusseldorf which is a brilliant city, much more to do and see than Dortmund - and taken the train to the stadium.

Lots of good places to have breakfast on the station - one minute's walk - at half the price of the hotel's breakfast price. It's a 40 minute walk to the stadium and at least 15 minutes to get in, so leave in plenty of time. The city is quite dull but the people are lovely, very friendly and kind. Don't eat in the square - poor quality and over priced. Bus tour very interesting, much more so than most and well worth doing if you have time. Learned a lot about the city's heritage and industry - far more informative that other similar tours we've done. Hotel bar does not belong to the hotel (!) so be aware it's closed on Sundays . . .

Everything went very smoothly. Only slight disappointment was that with an 10 year old and an eleven old the seats weren't all together although 2 were and the other two were fairly close but separate in a different block. I thought when I booked all seats were guaranteed to be together..

If you book the full stadium tour make sure you have time as it is closed on match day . We had booked the tour but couldn't do it the days before or after the match due to flight times.

Everything ran smoothly and we had a really enjoyable and hassle free trip. Atmosphere at camp nou was amazing and even though Barca lost the match the fans were lively and friendly. There was a flag on every seat and one of the best moments of the night was singing El Cant del Barca and waving the flag along with 100,000 supporters.

Tip: Get to the stadium early to find your way around and soak up the atmosphere. Stadium is easy to reach by metro from city centre. Aerobus from airport is only 10.30 euros for a return ticket to city centre and was quick and easy to use. Make sure you know which terminal you are flying from on your return journeyas they are served by different buses. Ryanair flies out of T2B.
