I can’t praise Football Breaks enough. Everything ran so smoothly: booking was easy and the staff at the office were very helpful. The information received was very full and helpful and all the directions were clear. The hotel was really comfortable and convenient for the Stadium and also Barcelona centre. The whole Barca experience fabulous. I would recommend the company to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for another trip.
Make sure you have a return metro ticket ahead of the game as getting out is hectic! Buy the ticket with 10 trips so that you can see the sights of Barcelona easily. We did a hop on hop off bus tour which was great.
I went to Barcelona to watch Barca v Deportivo. It was an amazing experience. The price of the whole package was great, Getting from The UK to Barcelona was straightforward. The hotel was good not great, but I wasn’t bothered as I spent so much time outdoors. The game was amazing (Barca won 4-0). The atmosphere was incredible. I did the Stadium and museum tour which was incredible. The city of Barcelona is breathtaking, So much to do, So Little time. If you’re planning to go try to go for at least a week if possible, not just three days like me . The service from football break was great (got free seat upgrade).I’m already planning my next trip.
Book as long as you can Barcelona has so much to offer.
Every part of the package was excellent. Had no problems what so ever.
Get to the stadium early to get the full experience and take in the atmosphere.
Everything was fine for the amount the trip cost . Only small complaint was that our seats were not together . Four of us in two lots of two.
Watch out for Saturday night it is protest night and 10's of thousands of people take to the streets to protest at whatever has grieved them that week all peaceful though.
I can't fault this booking at all. From the level of information provided at the time of booking to the service provided in the build-up to the weekend to the trip itself. Flight with Alitalia were absolutely fine and on time. The atmosphere before, during and after the game was of the highest level of buzz and simply unique. Rome itself is a fantastic city and one definitely worth visiting, especially if a game can be incorporated.
Be prepared for travel to and from the stadium giving yourselves plenty of time. We got a bus to the ground about 3 hours before kick-off so we could have a few beers at the bar outside the ground on the river where Roma fans were singing. Then walked back to the city via a few bars on the way.
