For the price we paid for this trip it was amazing from start to finish, everything was sent by email so was easy to access. The service was great as we made a mistake on the booking and they promptly helped us amend this. Was a great trip, will use football breaks again.
Try and learn the train line as it’s cheap and quick
Valencia very nice ground very close to hotel walking distance
If you book half board make sure you know when game is as we had to miss dinner and eat elsewhere did ask hotel if we could exchange fir lunch but they said no
Barcelona probably the best city in the world loved it. Great price could Not knock the package. Perfect.
Go down to the stadium early to soak up the atmosphere...
My son and I had a fantastic trip to Rome this January to watch Roma 1 Juventus 2. Rome is a hard city to beat in my view. Plenty of historic sights all within striking distance of each other and friendly locals. We found navigating around the city pretty easy but did mainly by foot, at our choice. The atmosphere in the Roma stadium was terrific but if you go, leave plenty of time - it takes quite a while to get into the stadium due to security and ticket / ID checks. The package organised by FootballBreak was excellent - everything went smoothly. We would have no hesitation in using the company again.
The Roma stadium is about 3 miles from the centre of the city. We walked and enjoyed the walk but don't underestimate the distance or the time to get into the stadium. I would recommend planning to get to the stadium up to 90 mins in advance to get through the security and ticket checks. And... don't forget your ID as it will be checked !
The overall pack was great value for money which included flights, hotel and match tickets. The match tickets were in a great part of the stadium and the atmosphere was outstanding. The service from football breaks was second to none once again. My self and son love Paris and had time to visit all the sites.
Try and take some time to visit city sites and landmarks.
