Both my son and myself had a tremendous time with great seats and atmosphere to match. I would recommend this package to any football fan and will certainly be looking to return.
Madrid is a beautiful city and the atmosphere at the game was amazing.
Pre book your transfer before arrival will save you a few euros.
The total experience was fantastic. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending footballbreak to anyone. The game itself was superb with Messi (my grandson's hero) scoring twice. A memory to cherish forever!
I took my son to see Barcelona v Athletico Madrid. I can't compliment Football Breaks enough for a superbly organised trip. Flights were on time (arriving early both ways) and match tickets were waiting for use when we arrived at hotel. The Nou Camp atmosphere was incredible (especially when Barca scored). The seats we received were perfect and gave us a brilliant view of the game. The following day we had a great time exploring Barcelona city centre. On the final day we opted for the stadium tour & it's not to be missed. This trip was something I will never forget... Thank you Football Breaks
Ensure you take the stadium tour, it's one not to be missed.
This trip was to celebrate my son's 21st and it was a great success. We stayed at Hotel 10 Itaca which was very good. Helpful, English speaking staff. Hotel close to metro and a couple of stops from Camp Nou but we chose to walk there (25 -30 min easy walk). Great for access to Central Barcelona on metro - we visited Sagrada Familia and la Rambla as well as the Camp Nou museum and tour - boys loved it. This was my first trip of this kind and I had loads of questions to ask Football Break.com but they were always quick and courteous in their response.
Great family atmosphere at Camp Nou so suitable for children. Worthwhile visiting the stadium tour. Beware of pavement cafés in la Rambla - don't just ask for a beer without asking price as a lot of them serve huge glasses at €10-12 each! I was offered a glass of sangria and it was €12! So, just check what you are getting if you drink in this spot.
Barcelona is a lovely city with plenty to do and see. The Nou Camp was breath-taking, we loved every minute of it and went back the day after the game to do the tour and museum. The whole experience was awesome and everything went to plan, the museum tickets came before the trip and match tickets were waiting for us upon our arrival. The hotel was great and travelling around was easy, the guidance and information provided by FootballBreak prior to the visit were really helpful and it was a great way to celebrate my sons 13th birthday with him. It wasn't quite a full house at the game but the atmosphere and stadium made it a really special experience.
Definitely worth doing the stadium tour/museum as well as taking in a game. The tour buses were excellent value and got you round all the sites.
