Hotel was brilliant, great location. Everything was so well organised.
Must do the museum tour, try to book in same day as the game
What a weekend in Naples with my Dad and older Brother for Napoli vs Juventus! A truly unique city in Southern Italy which is a MUST for any football fan. I can honestly say the San Paolo is home to the loudest and most passionate fans in European football, without a doubt the best atmosphere I've witnessed at a football match. The seats given to us weren't the ones I originally got told I would be getting on my booking, but this wasn't a problem and made for excellent viewing none the less. My only disappointment is Napoli couldn't find a goal to raise the roof and suffered defeat! FootballBreak.co.uk literally did everything, which included adding an extra person on the trip after I'd already made my original booking, so I cannot thank them enough for this fantastic service!
Get to the stadium early, as fans don't sit in their allocated seats so it's pretty much a free-for-all!
1st class service - totally worth booking trips for football matches through yourselves. The atmosphere was electric in the stadium and the seats were amazing. Hotel was nice - however on arrival the guy at reception was totally rude which did not start our weekend very well. However once he left cannot fault the other staff within the hotel. Very central and close for everything. The service from our rep - Rebecca was excellent, left nothing to chance and we were confident all would be in place for our trip. As this was for our sons 21st.
Tip: would recommend getting the stadium tour tickets before you go and take Route 2 hop on hop off bus to get there. We took a 2 day ticket and was able to do the tour the day before the game and then took the bus to the game the next day. The queues were long for tour tickets. Well worth the money.
Amazing! My all time dream of going to the nou camp became reality an it more than lived up to expectations. Football break are so easy to deal with and would definetly use them again. I also requested all 4 seats together at the game, a balcony in our hotel room which were all met. Barcelona as a city isnice with lots of differnent attractions. Segway tour is a must really good fun. The only negatives from my weekend away was the flights because ive got a major fear of it and we also found the locals to be very rude in the way they speak especially taxi drivers but overall loved the trip!!
If your just there for the football try and get a hotel as close to the nou camp as possible because the metro is madness after the game. Segway tour is really fun to do.
The complete package organised by footballbreak was of high quality including flights and accomodation. The taxi from the airport to the centre cost 45 euros for 5 of us.The hotel was in an excellent location and 10 minutes walk from the main street, it was clean, breakfast was good with enough choice for everyone. Getting around Barcelona is easy either walking, using the hop on hop off bus or the Metro.
Don't be afraid to use the Metro, it's very easy to understand, use and is cheap.
