We had a great time on our 4 day trip to Barcelona. Our hotel Villa Emelia was amazing and right next to Rocafort Metro station which made getting around the city easy. Our seats in the stadium were really good and despite it being a 010 draw the atmosphere and sheer size of the stadium was amazing. My 9 year old son loved it and wants to go back again. We also went back on our last day and done the stadium and museum tour which was really good too. I would definitely recommend attending a Barcelona game and there is so much to do in the city. We went on a catamaran tour, visited Gaudi Park, Sagarda Familia and las ramblas all using the metro.
Buy a travel card to get around the city. Much cheaper option and you can get to all of the tourist attractions including the stadium with ease.
Great trip Package was good San siro was amazing very Loud Easy to book and would Highley recommend cant wait till next year for a different stadium off the bucket list !!
Be prepared to do alot of walking around
We visited Barcelona for a belated 18th Birthday present for our Son. We booked a family room (2 double/twin rooms with a communal hall) which worked out fantastically for us. Hotel was clean and well located with very friendly and helpful staff. Camp nou lives up to the hype The seats for the match were very good. The 18 & 50 year olds were equally swept up by the atmosphere and absolutely mad local fans. We'd definitely use FootballBreak again. Emre was beyond helpful. Any questions (and I had a few) were answered quickly and courteously. The total package was everything we needed and more.
If you're going to do the Camp Nou tour don't pay for the audio guide. I'd also be tempted to miss out the 360 experience too.
We had a fantastic trip to the Allianz Arena in March 2023. Plenty of fun, football and beer during our 4 night stay in Munich where we enjoyed not only the football (Bayern beat Augsburg 5-3 in front of 75,000 fans), but also the cultural delights of the city (bierkellers, BMW museum and the Olympic Park amongst other things).
This is the second time I’ve used football break and this was as excellent a service as the first time, the flight was quick and comfortable and using the metro from the airport is really easy and used it all the weekend. The hotel is modern very clean friendly helpful staff room cleaned everyday and is a great location for everything in Madrid, the Spanish fans of Real Madrid are really friendly and the atmosphere is electric. Booking with football break is so easy and will continue to use them in the future.
Other than the 2 football teams to watch in Madrid this city is one of the most stunning vibrant cities I’ve been too, please use the open top buses to see the sites they have 2 routes and it’s the best way to see the sites and if you see something you like you can get off and explore and then get back on and carry on they run till 10pm so you can tour Madrid at night all lit up it looks completely different. The royal palace and the parque de Madrid are stunning places to walk around the park is huge with loads of places to grab a drink, food and relax. Madrid is stunning with a street upon street of bars and restaurants I think if you lived there for the next century you’d struggle to eat and drink at every bar and cafe or restaurant.
