was very happy with the service and customer service and will be returning again next year to book a few more trips with my partner coming with me.
it was for my 70th birthday. I went with my Son and Son in law. the complete packaging was fantastic. I would like to thank Rebecca for the way she organised everything for us, including new flights when Monarch airlines went bust. The hotel was great, the Zenit Borrell is about 20 minutes walk from the stadium, and 20 minutes walk into the centre of Barcelona, or you can use public transport. the atmosphere in the ground was electric, just sit back and take it in. make sure you take loads of photos, and video some of the singing. The match was great Barca v Valencia. 2-1 Barca. we did the stadium and museum tour the next day, which was really good, you get to go behind the scenes and see everything, including all the cups they have won, shirts, even the changing rooms, well worth the price. If you're a football fan just do it. This IS the company to book with, I can't praise them enough for the way everything was done, and the way they looked after us.
most of the stadium is open, so if it rains (it did for us a bit) then you will get wet. try and book a seat under the roof, it's at the players entrance side of the stadium. it works both ways I guess, if it's very hot, you will be in the shade, and stay cool
I have used Football Breaks a few times in the past few years and have always had a great experience. They were top again with everything as the game got moved only a few days before kick off and the tickets were going to be delivered to the hotel but in the end they sent us e tickets. Any query i had they responded to straight away! The Hotel was a 4 star we picked which was very good.
The game was a great 0-0 with chances for both sides and a last minute from Donnarumma which was awesome to see live and the fans reaction. At the end Donnarumma chucked his shirt and shorts in crowd. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and so loud as we was in the Ultras section one of the best and passionate about. I had been to the San Siro before a while back for the tour but to actually watch a game was so good vs a great team in Napoli. We made the experience better to feel part of it by buying a AC Milan shirt and scarf to fit right in. Forza Milan!
Football Breaks yet again deliver each time for a Football weekend abroad without any hassle!"
Everything went like clockwork. We especially liked the idea of printing off our match tickets, as it took away the element of when are our tickets going to arrive at the hotel. E-Mail communications were excellent throughout, particularly changes to match kick-off time. Milan is a vibrant city, easy to get around by tram and metro.
Purchase a day ticket for the tram / metro / bus. Only costs €4.50 Used it to get from the hotel into Milan City Centre and also to the San Siro. Limited time for sightseeing, take the Hop-On/Hop-Off Open Top Bus from near Milan Cathedral. 1 ticket covers all 3 routes.
Again another great trip. This was my forth with football breaks and it didn't disappoint. Madrid is a great city and the airport is only 15 minutes by taxi at 30 euros. We took a tour of the city with the hop on hop off bus and used this to get to the bernabeu. We would highly recommend the stadium tour it was amazing, but on match days they limit the tour(basically you can't go in the dressing rooms). The Real Madrid website gives full details and we booked it on the day and the tickets went into our passport app the same as the match day tickets. Great game (6-3) and the stadium was impressive. We especially like the heaters in the stands, it was a bit on the chilli side in Madrid over the weekend. Football breaks as ever were spot on and we are already looking forward to the next trip.
Do the tour of the stadium and the city.
