Having never been on a football break abroad before we found footballbreak.co.uk to be excellent as we were able to book the complete package with them and not have the hassle of trying to book flights and hotels separately. Having received our hotel voucher and boarding passes by email all we had to do was arrive at the airport and go to the departure lounge. On arrival at the hotel we found our match tickets waiting for us to collect from reception. The match itself was excellent with Barcalona winning 7:1 and Messi scoring 5 goals. Our seats were by a corner and we were sat no more than 20 rows back giving us a great view. The atmosphere was amazing, nothing like I have ever experienced at a football match before. We returned to the Nou Camp Stadium Tour and Museum the following day and would definitely recommend it. Aside from football we found the hotel to be very nice and the staff very friendly. Barcelona itself was just amazing. Tapas bars, shop, Gaudi etc. We had three days and still did not get to see éverything. I would definitely go again.

Excellent value for money and superbly organised. Travelling as a large group of 10 males, everything was in place for us to enjoy the weekend with minimal fuss. Hotel was very receptive and friendly and the tickets were available as documented at reception on the day of the game. The barcelona marina was fantastic with an exceptional beach and beachside resteraunts and bars. A great trip
Must visit Barcelona Marina - the beach is fanstastic. Also do not be afraid to use the underground service - it is second to none. Extremely cheap, easy to use, air conditioned and you even get phone signal. Certainly teaches London a thing or two!
I am a big fan of the city and recommend it to anyone. We had plenty of time to see a few sights as well as watch the football. The stadium was amazing and so was the tour. I had numerous questions and booking queries for the plane and the servie received was great, I had no problem and the responses were quick and pleasant. Make sure you invest in the city pass. The metro is really easy to use but it is simple to order and pick up at the airport.
As it's my 21st this year my dad treated me to a weekend in Barcelona as a premature birthday present and the whole experience is one I will never forget. The Rialto Hotel we stayed in was of a good standard, serving breakfast from 7.30-10.30am and offering a wide range of foods. As for the actual football match I couldn't have asked for much more with Lionel Messi producing a masterclass performance scoring 4 goals in the process.
I couldn't recommend visiting the Camp Nou on match day enough - it really is a unique experience. I would also suggest going on a bus tour of the city as there are some wonderful buildings and trademarks of the city. You can visit the Olympic Stadium (home of Espanyol) free of charge too which is an added bonus.
This was a trip for me and my 10 year old son to see Barcelona v. Valencia. As I usually organise everything myself I had some initial doubts about how smooth everything would go in the hands of another party, not least could I trust them to get it right. I am pleased and relieved to say that the whole experience was superb, good flights, great hotel, match and stadium tour tickets waiting for us on our arrival, brilliant.
