The whole experience was very good the hotel was ok just that the resturant was not up to much only one person in the bar and they were serving the resturant as well so service was slow may be this was because it was out of season. As for the seat tickets for the game I paid the extra for the better seats these were exellent three rows from the front, atmosphere was good.the ease of the package was very good information about getting to the hotel and match time very good.As for Barcalona it's self if we had stayed around the hotel and around the stadium we wouldn't have had a very good impression of the area but if you go get on the tour buses which takes you round the hole of Barcalona and you can get on and off at different stops to take in the sites and the beautiful architecture and the markets .

If you enjoy football well worth the experience stadium out of this world and stadium tour well worth the money also if the game is on the Saturday you can watch the youngsters from the academy playing a match on the pitch over the road from the stadium..

Would like to thank football breaks for a great service provided in making this a trip of a lifetime. They provided information on all available flights, a great selection of hotels and of course guaranteed seats with the option of upgrading if required. Which we did. Basically a great package. I e-mailed football breaks a couple of times with questions regarding my upcoming trip and was very impressed with a speedy personal reply. I visited Madrid for Real Madrid v Real Sociedad and found it to be very warm, friendly, football loving city. As for the Bernabeu.... What a stadium.

I have two tips to offer travellers to Madrid. Use the Metro system. Very easy to use. €4.90 from the airport to the city centre and €1.90 to get around the city. The second tip. Do the stadium tour. Very good.

the overall package of the trip was excellent.the hotel was basic but thats all i required as there was just 2 men going.the flight was good and the tickets i requested were in the top tier but that is all i asked for.the atmosphere was really good.overall the package was as i requested and the service i received was excellent.the only down side to madrid wasat the time we were there the street cleaners were on strike .the streets and side streets was covered in not just litter but all kinds of rubbish

the metro is a lot easier to use than i first thought and also a lot cheaper than taxis

Absolutely 1st rate. Took my son to see Real Madrid…everything went like clockwork, the package made everything so simple. Match tickets were brilliant 6 rows from the front,so great view & got to see the players close up. The hotel was walking distance from the stadium, was basic but comfortable & staff were great, The service from football breaks was outstanding .... everything was booked, the match tickets were at the hotel waiting for us when we arrived. We will definitely book with football breaks again.

I took my 15 year old son to see Barcelona play against Espanyol who is extremely passionate about his football and they won 1-0, our only disappointment was that Messi didn't score however it didn't dampen the experience whatsoever. We've been to many places around the world but I will never forget my son's face when he saw the stadium, I've never seen him so overjoyed. I'm not a big football fan but enjoyed every minute of it. The representatives were extremely helpful always replying to me very quickly with any queries I had. The atmosphere in the stadium was something I have never experienced, my son didn't want to leave. Barcelona city is an amazing place, we saw so much in just 2 days although it was tiring. The Senator Hotel was lovely, the staff were very helpful and the bonus was that it was just a 5 minute walk from the ground. We wouldn't think twice about booking with football break again. We had an amazing time and have memories we will cherish forever.

I personally feel that it is a must to do the stadium tour, you will definetly be impressed. I would also advise purchasing a one or two day bus tour ticket which takes you all round the city and picks you up right outside the stadium, you also receive a coupon booklet which has a discount voucher inside for the stadium tour.
