Booking Terms and Conditions
Our obligations in relation to travel arrangements vary depending upon whether or not what you book with us is a package as defined by the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 (for UK departures) or the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995 (for Ireland departures), collectively referred to in these conditions as the Package Travel Regulations.
Article 1: General, Applicability of Terms and Conditions
For a smooth process and good organisation of your trip, you must accept our general terms and conditions of sale. The travel and payment conditions govern the legal relationship between you and Travelgroep B.V. Our obligations in relation to travel arrangements vary depending upon whether or not what you book with us is a package as defined by the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 (for UK departures) or the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995 (for Ireland departures). By booking with us, you accept these general terms and conditions of sale. The details of TravelGroep BV are:

Article 2: Agreement
2.1 The agreement is established by the traveller's acceptance of the offer made by FootballBreak.co.uk. The traveller's acceptance usually occurs electronically (via the booking module on the website) but can also be done in writing or by phone.
2.2 Ensure that you provide your details completely and correctly to FootballBreak.co.uk when accepting the offer. FootballBreak.co.uk relies on the accuracy of this information. If a booking needs to be adjusted later due to incorrect or incomplete information, all associated costs will be your responsibility.
2.3 After the agreement is established, you will receive a confirmation of the agreement in writing or electronically (via email). You are required to carefully check this confirmation for any errors immediately upon receipt. This includes information such as travel dates, hotel accommodation, the event, and personal information. If the information in the confirmation is incorrect, you must contact FootballBreak.co.uk within 24 hours at the latest. FootballBreak.co.uk is not liable for any damage or costs if it later turns out that the information provided during booking was incorrect. Costs arising from adjustments to a booking due to incorrect or incomplete information are your responsibility.
2.4 FootballBreak.co.uk enters into the agreement on the condition that it can actually reserve the booked components. In this context, FootballBreak.co.uk reserves the right to cancel the agreement up to a maximum of one working day after receiving the agreed travel sum, in which case FootballBreak.co.uk will refund the paid travel sum within 5 working days of payment.
2.5 Changes in transport or other costs or charges (VAT) are never passed on to the customer by FootballBreak.co.uk. The travel sum paid for the booked trip can therefore never fluctuate after the booking has been made.
2.6 Any tourist tax must be paid by the traveller at the reception upon arrival. These taxes are not included in the booking and must be paid directly by the traveller. The payment of tourist tax is the exclusive responsibility of the traveller and cannot be refunded or claimed from us.
2.7 Obvious errors and mistakes (which are clearly errors or mistakes) in the information provided by or on behalf of FootballBreak.co.uk and its suppliers, whether through the website or in the agreement, do not bind FootballBreak.co.uk. FootballBreak.co.uk accepts no liability for this. FootballBreak.co.uk also reserves the right to rely on obvious errors in offers.
Article 3: Payment
The total travel cost (or the amount to be paid) must be credited to the account of FootballBreak.co.uk at the specified time. If you have booked the trip with a deposit, we will send you a reminder about the remaining payment 6 weeks before departure. Only after you have not responded to the third reminder will the payment deadline be considered as final. If payment is not made on time (i.e., after the third reminder and 4 weeks before departure), you will be in default, and any interest and costs that FootballBreak.co.uk has to incur due to your default (such as payments to its suppliers and any collection costs) will be fully your responsibility and the trip will be cancelled.
Article 4: Changes
4.1 FootballBreak.co.uk is not responsible for, for whatever reason, the inability to participate in the trip and/or attend the booked event, and is not liable for any damages suffered as a result. FootballBreak.co.uk will always ensure a suitable travel schedule within which a visit to the event is reasonably possible. FootballBreak.co.uk ensures that the travel components are coordinated with the event. However, it is your own responsibility to actually be present at the event on time.
4.2 In the event that circumstances beyond your control prevent your participation in a trip or attendance at a booked event or match, such as flight delays or cancellations, unforeseen last-minute event rescheduling, or changes in match times, we are committed to assisting you to the best of our ability, depending on the nature of your bookings with us and the underlying cause of the problem. It is important to note that there are significant differences in responsibility and protocol for dealing with damage, depending on whether the components of your trip are booked with us or independently. This applies to situations where the first day of the trip has already begun, to clarify the timing of applicability.
4.2a Components booked with us: If you have booked various components of your trip with us, hotels, or event tickets, we will work closely to help you explore solutions to minimise any disruptions to your plans. However, we are not responsible for any additional costs that may arise from this.
4.2b Components not booked with us: For components of your trip that you have arranged independently, such as flights booked through another provider, we cannot take responsibility for any resulting problems or consequential damages. This means that if, for example, your independently booked flight experiences delays or cancellations, resulting in a missed event, we unfortunately cannot accept liability for these circumstances.
4.2c If the event is postponed outside the timeframe of your trip, we will only rebook the components you booked with us for the new event date, so you can attend the event. To avoid disappointment, we offer a comprehensive service package during the booking process. With your booking, you will receive the "All In One" service package. You also have the option to upgrade to the Premium Plus package, which is especially useful if your travel dates are not so flexible. For more details, see Article 10 of our general terms and conditions.
The trip should only be adjusted in the event of a significant change in the match time that does not fit within your current travel schedule. FootballBreak.co.uk applies a minimum of 2 hours between the scheduled arrival time and the start of the event. FootballBreak.co.uk will only adjust the hotel that is necessary due to the change in match time.
4.3 FootballBreak.co.uk is entitled to make a substantial change to the agreement due to significant circumstances that are communicated to you without delay. FootballBreak.co.uk may also change the agreement due to significant circumstances communicated to you, even if you would only suffer minor disadvantages as a result.
4.4 FootballBreak.co.uk reserves the right to make changes to your booked trip to ensure that you are not accommodated in an overbooked hotel. Generally, the following changes may occur:
- Hotels: In exceptional cases, your hotel may be fully booked. In that case, we will work to find an alternative, always striving for an equivalent hotel. You will always be notified of such changes before departure. These are non-negotiable.
- Event tickets: We may offer you an upgrade of the event tickets. Sometimes, an upgrade is the only option. In that case, you must accept the upgrade, but we will inform you before the match.
Article 5: Substitution
5.1 If you are unable to participate in the trip, someone else may be substituted under the conditions stated in paragraphs 2 and 3.
5.2 The conditions for substitution are as follows:
a) The substitute participant meets all the conditions associated with the trip or event.
b) The request is submitted no later than 10 days before departure, or early enough that the necessary actions and formalities for substitution can still be carried out.
c) The terms of FootballBreak.co.uk’s suppliers do not prevent substitution.
d) All costs associated with substitution must be paid in a timely and complete manner by you or the substitute participant.
5.3 The traveller can designate a substitute participant up to 10 days before the start of the trip, unless there are exceptional reasons preventing this. An administration fee of 50 pounds per person will be charged for the designation of a substitute. If additional costs arise from changes in participants with service providers, these will also be passed on. In such a contract transfer, the traveller as the original booker and the substitute person are jointly liable for the additional costs incurred. The traveller is obliged to provide the full name, nationality, and date of birth of the substitute participant. Depending on the club, or hotel, a name change may not always be feasible. Therefore, this possibility will first be checked with the club, hotel, and supplier. If a name change is not possible, a new ticket must be purchased depending on availability. This will be communicated to the booker and passed on.

Article 6: Travel Documents
6.1 FootballBreak.co.uk will provide you with the necessary travel documents, including (if applicable) your hotel reservation and information about event tickets, no later than 7 days after full payment. event tickets will be sent no later than 24 hours before the start time. They are always tickets for the home section of the destination club. Please keep this in mind. It is not allowed to wear the opposing team's club clothing during the match. If the travel documents are not in your possession 7 days after full payment, you should contact FootballBreak.co.uk.
6.2 You are obliged to carefully check the travel documents provided by FootballBreak.co.uk for any errors immediately upon receipt. If the travel documents are incorrect, you must contact FootballBreak.co.uk immediately. FootballBreak.co.uk is not liable for any damage or costs if it later turns out that the travel documents are incorrect. Costs associated with adjusting the travel documents due to incorrect or incomplete information provided are your responsibility.
6.3 You are responsible for having the correct and valid border and travel documents such as a valid passport/identity card, visas, and any health-related documents. You must obtain this information yourself from the relevant authorities. FootballBreak.co.uk is not liable for any damage or costs if you do not have the correct and valid border and travel documents. If you are visiting a European Union (EU) country you should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or in Ireland an E111 form from your local health board, and take it with you when you travel. The EHIC can be obtained free of charge by completing an application form available from main Post Offices and from www.dh.gov.uk/travellers. Please note, the EHIC is in addition to Travel Insurance, not instead of it. We will have no liability to you if you or any member of your party travel without the correct passport and visa or without the necessary vaccinations, and you will have to pay to us any costs which we incur through helping you because of any such failure on your part.
6.4 FootballBreak.co.uk strongly advises you to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance with an external provider.
Article 7: Liability and Force Majeure
7.1 FootballBreak.co.uk undertakes to execute the agreement in accordance with the expectations that you may reasonably have based on the agreement. You must comply with all instructions, directions, and general terms and conditions (or booking conditions) of FootballBreak.co.uk and the third parties and suppliers it engages.
7.2 FootballBreak.co.uk accepts no liability for any damage claims of any kind if:
A) the deficiency cannot be attributed to it or to the person whose assistance it uses in the execution of the agreement because:
- the deficiency is attributable to yourself; or
- the deficiency could not be foreseen or remedied and is attributable to a third party not involved in the provision of the services included in the trip; or
- the deficiency is due to force majeure, abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances that are independent of the will of the party invoking them and the consequences of which could not have been avoided despite all precautions;
B) You have been able to recover the damage under an insurance policy, such as travel and/or cancellation insurance and/or health insurance, or if you have already been compensated through another means;
C) and to the extent that a treaty or law excludes or limits liability.
7.3 Without prejudice to the provisions of the preceding paragraphs of this article, FootballBreak.co.uk's liability for damages other than those caused by death or injury and loss of enjoyment of the trip is limited to a maximum of three times the travel sum. FootballBreak.co.uk's liability for loss of enjoyment/pain and suffering is limited to a maximum of once the travel sum.
Article 7.4: Lost or Damaged Baggage
In case of baggage loss or theft at the hotel, it is crucial to immediately file a written damage report at the hotel reception and inform the local police. Note: we are not responsible for the loss or theft of baggage at the hotel. You can contact your travel insurance for the handling of the damage.
Article 8: Complaints
8.1 FootballBreak.co.uk aims to ensure a smooth travel experience for you. Nevertheless, problems may arise. If you have any complaints or encounter any issues at any time, you must report them immediately via FootballBreak.co.uk's emergency number and confirm this report in writing (via email or text message) to FootballBreak.co.uk. This notification enables FootballBreak.co.uk to address the problem on the spot and immediately if possible.
8.2 Complaints that have not been reported immediately (demonstrably) in accordance with Article 8.1 during the trip will not be considered upon return. If you have reported a complaint during the trip and it has not been satisfactorily resolved, you must submit it in writing via email ([email protected]) to FootballBreak.co.uk within 30 days after your return. Failure to do so will result in the complaint no longer being processed, and any rights will be forfeited. If you have submitted your complaint in a timely manner, FootballBreak.co.uk will respond to the complaint within a maximum of 10 working days by email or letter.
Article 9: Disputes
Dutch law applies to all disputes between you and FootballBreak.co.uk. Disputes must be brought exclusively before the Dutch court. If your place of residence is not in the Netherlands, you may also bring any dispute before a foreign court. Any right to claim lapses one year after the end of the trip, or, if the trip did not take place, one year after the original start date.
Article 10: Service Packages
Article 10.1
Upon booking, you will receive the "All In One" service package. Additionally, you can opt for the Premium Plus package at an extra cost, which we recommend if you have less flexibility in your travel dates in the event of a match date change.

In case of a match rescheduling, we will ensure that your travel arrangements booked with us are adjusted so you can still attend the match. Here's what we offer:
- Adjustment of travel dates: We will adjust your travel dates at no extra cost. We will only modify the hotel reservation as necessary to accommodate the new match time.
- Coverage of costs: Modification costs will be covered by us, so you don't incur additional expenses.
- Hotel accommodation: If you booked a hotel with us and need an extra night due to the new match date, we will cover the costs for that extra night. If the match is rescheduled to another week, we will adjust your flight and hotel reservations accordingly, maintaining the same number of hotel nights.
- Match tickets: Tickets remain valid for the originally booked match. If the match is rescheduled, the tickets will remain valid for the new date. Please note that these tickets are non-refundable. The possibility of name changes depends on the clubs' terms.
- Accommodation adjustment: If you prefer to shorten your stay, we will honour your request. However, no refund will be provided for the shortened hotel stay.
- Refund limitation: Please note that cash refunds or vouchers are not possible.
- Match change policy: It is not possible to switch to another match without additional costs.

- Option for voucher: If the new match date is not suitable for you, you will receive a full refund in the form of a voucher worth your total fare. This voucher allows you to book a new football trip of your choice and is valid for one year.
- Refund limitation: Please note that cash refunds are not possible.
- Match change policy: It is not possible to switch to another match without additional costs.
Article 10.2: Tickets Only
Match tickets are valid for the originally booked match. If the match is rescheduled, the tickets will remain valid for the new date. Please note: these tickets are non-modifiable or Non - refundable. The possibility of name changes depends on the terms of the clubs.
Article 11: Cancelling the Trip
It is possible to cancel your trip. To do so, you can request a cancellation via email at [email protected], stating your booking number. We will then cancel the trip for you. However, please note that parts of your trip may not be refunded partially or fully. Refunds will be issued in the form of a voucher that you can use with us to book a new trip within one year from the date of issue, and only for the parts that can still be cancelled at that time. Refunds will be issued in the form of a voucher that you can use with us to book a new trip within one year from the date of issue, applicable only to the portions that can still be cancelled at that time. If you prefer a cash refund, an administrative fee of 10% of the travel sum will be charged, and it will also apply only to the parts that can still be cancelled at that time. If you have taken out travel insurance, you can contact your insurer to file a claim for the costs that we cannot refund.
Article 12: Errors in Personal Data
Your name, salutation, and date of birth and nationality must be filled in as indicated in your passport or identity card. Abbreviations, nicknames, and initials are not allowed. Your first name and surname must be stated in full as in your passport or identity card for the reservation. If, however, you accidentally enter the wrong information, please contact us as soon as possible to correct this information. We will then contact the airline, hotel, and supplier of the football tickets to change your details. Costs resulting from adjustments to a booking due to incorrect or incomplete data are your responsibility. We also charge a administration fee of 25 pound
Article 13: Discount Codes/Gift cards/Vouchers
Discount codes, gift cards, or vouchers can be redeemed in the "Discount Code" field at the end of the booking process. Please note that only one code can be used per booking and therefore it is not possible to use multiple codes for one booking. Additionally, the gift card remains valid for two years and cannot be extended.
Article 14: FC Barcelona Stadium.
In the event that a match is relocated to a different venue within the same city, your ticket will remain valid for entry to the new venue. Refunds or exchanges will not be provided. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to attend the match at the designated venue, whether it is the Estadio Olimpico or the new Camp Nou once completed.
