This Dutchman took Ajax's “total football” brand with him to FC Barcelona at the time. He won the Ballon d'Or on three occasions and as a coach laid the foundations for the successful modern Barcelona.

Ronaldinho

This Brazilian was known for his frivolous style when at FC Barcelona. The best player of his generation. He was a creative player with unprecedented ability to dribble and take free kicks.He was twice FIFA Player of the Year won the Ballon d’Or on one occasion.

Zinedine Zidane

This Frenchman is also known by his nickname “Zizou”. He was a tough attacking midfielder. Real Madrid paid Juventus a then world record transfer fee for his services at that time. He won both La Liga and the Champions League at Real. He was a huge fans’ favourite.

Samuel Eto’o

He played for both Real Madrid and for FC Barcelona, and was a fans’ favourite of both. He won the La Liga title three times and the Champions League twice when at Barcelona. He was Africa’s best player at that moment in time.

Luis Suárez

He pulled up trees on the pitch at FC Barcelona and is now playing for Atletico Madrid. He joined Barcelona for a record transfer fee and immediately won the “treble”. This child prodigy immediately won the league title during his first season with Atletico.

Raúl

One of the most important players in the history of Real Madrid. He holds the record number of appearances having played 741 times. This striker won five national titles and the Champions League on three occasions.

Francisco Gento

“Paco” Gento has won the cup against the big fish no less than on six occasions when at Real Madrid. He became president of the club following the death of Alfredo di Stefano. He played for Real Madrid for 18 years. Where he won the La Liga title on 12 occasions.'
